Board of Deacons
The Board of Deacons is comprised of church members chosen for their spirituality, honesty, brotherly and sisterly love, warmth, sympathy, sound judgment, and general good character. The Deacon motto is “Sharing Christ’s Care. Deacons exemplify the caring side of the church and seek to minister either within or beyond the community of faith to:
- the needy,
- the sick,
- the friendless, and
- the distressed.
Their duty is one of compassion, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. They also assume other duties that may be delegated to them from time to time by the Session.

The Board of Deacons at LCPC consists of 16 Deacons with five Deacons elected each year (a sixth Deacon elected once every three years) on a rotating basis for three year terms. The current Executive Team is:
