Renee K. Farrell, Executive Director
The Interfaith Hospitality Network provides shelter, meals, and comprehensive support to families without homes. Founded in New Jersey in 1986, IHN programs are now found in most states across the country, with more than 85,000 volunteers contributing their gifts of time and talent. Eight to thirteen "host" congregations provide accommodations and meals for three to five homeless families (up to 14 people), for one week on a rotating schedule. Each Network also employs a Director who manages the program and works intensively with the families as they seek housing, jobs and other resources. Liberty Corner is proud to participate in this mission, both in a supporting role and as a host congregation.
Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) , our congregation’s mission partner with Somerset County homeless families, would like to ask your help in securing much needed additional funding. If you work for a company that will be collecting United Way contributions, please designate IHN as the agency to receive your contribution. This will greatly assist IHN to provide continuing shelter, case management, transportation and other client services. To designate IHN as the recipient of your funds, please use United Way Tri-State Code #027920 on the form provided by your employer. |
