The mission of the Food Bank is to distribute food and provide other basic human needs to those less fortunate in our community in a manner that recognizes and advances self worth and human dignity. In addition to distributing food to the hungry, the Food Bank
pays for prescription drugs for the indigent ill,
helps those adversely affected by natural disasters,
assists those poor who need help in paying rent,
makes good used clothing available to women seeking employment and
provides funds to pay the utilities and other emergencies of the needy.
Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church supports the Food Bank with an annual food drive by the youth of our church. In addition, at Easter and Thanksgiving the church collects turkeys donated by members and delivers them to the Food Bank.
