Major Educational Accomplishments Hearts For Honduras School Achieved a 94% completion rate. 94% of students who began the school year stayed in school. This is a great accomplishment in a country where over 50% of students do not finish 5th grade.

Meet the Director of HFH School For many years I worked with my husband in a family business, but I felt called to invest my life for the children of my community who didn’t have access to education. So I allowed God to use the talents I have been given. God has moved the hearts of many people who work to make this miracle of faith and love grow: The Hearts For Honduras School.

In our school we have always had the liberty to express ourselves. Speaking how we feel which gives us confidence and security. The school is our second home and the teachers are like parents to us. |

Nov. 2006 |
On October 30, 2006 the Hearts For Honduras School held a Science Fair. Each class, grades 1 through 6, participated and had an exhibit. The children had prepared for the fair for a long time and were excited to show what they had learned. Other schools from La Entrada visited the fair and the Hearts For Honduras students gave presentations about their exhibits. |

Graduation Day! December 6, 2006 A very special day in the lives of 23 6th graders at Hearts For Honduras School! Graduation Day was a day that many of these children never dreamed would happen in their lives. Most of them are planning to continue their education |

Memories....A First Visit to La Entrada I was at the Tree of Life School helping to construct a cinder block science building. It was hot, dirty, back breaking work, but I never heard a word of complaining from the volunteers from our mission team or from the youth translators from Honduras....
