Music and Worship
Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout to God with loud songs of joy. For the LORD, the Most High, is awesome, the great King over all the earth.
Psalm 47

Music Ministry at Liberty Corner Presbyterian Church seeks to involve all ages in learning and performing a wide variety of music to praise the Lord. While worship is the primary purpose for our choirs, we manage to incorporate fellowship, fun, music education, spiritual enrichment and outreach.
Music ministry, as well as other arts, can best be understood in a quote from Psalm 33: “Sing to the Lord a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.” Music in worship exists solely to glorify God. |
We strive for creativity and excellence in our pursuit to lift up the name of God and achieve our core values. It is a commitment to draw upon our tradition of exceptional worship and music and move forward with growth in our ministry.
All music ministry is under the direction of Matt Vanzini.
Matt leads all Adult Choirs.
Sharon Lawton leads the Angel Choir.
Nathan Brewer leads the Cherub, Gallery and Youth Choirs, and the Children’s Music Theater.
Shelley Giaier leads the Gallery and Liberty Ringers.
Worship Sound and Worship Video are managed by Doug Carroll and John Kovac respectively.
Periodically we present evening or afternoon concerts with either our choirs performing or invited guests or choirs performing. Watch the calendar for these special events.
